AuxC Class To Be Offered

The AUXC Qualification Course presented by the Ohio Military Reserve, part of The Adjutant General’s Department of the State of Ohio is on again this fall. Don’t miss this unique training and qualification experience. Please share this message with any emergency communicators who may have an interest, particularly for those who have completed the DHS AUXCOMM course.

The twenty-three week course running from November through March is presented through a program of monthly in-person sessions, weekly email messages and video conferences, and thrice-weekly opportunities to practice skills on the air. This isn’t a reading of a series of slide-decks. What is taught in the classroom will be put right to work in the lab or taken to the field!

To get the most out of the course, you’ll want to be sure you have the prerequisite DHS AUXCOMM course completed so you can begin the Auxiliary Communicator (AUXC) Position Task Book (PTB). If you haven’t completed the AUXCOMM course you may still be able to participate if seats are available and you’ll be better prepared to get that PTB knocked out once you do complete the other training. The PTB is available in the Document Center.

Expect appearances from others who have taken the course already and either completed their AUXC qualification or are well on their way.
